Who in Michigan supports Chuck Hagel for President?

I sense a little bit of sarcasm, but that is the exact purpose of this blog--to bring out Senator Hagel's supporters. If you don't mind my asking, who do you support?

I am currently a trial attorney (try not to hold that against me) in Macomb County, Michigan. I am also a former elected local official in Berrien County, Michigan and former NRC/NRCC trained congressional campaign manager (successfully ran a western Michigan congressman's campaign a few years back). I got my start in GOP grass-roots politics in the University of Michigan's College Republicans (1987-1991).

Despite the foregoing, I have been skeptical of the War in Iraq from the very beginning and think that President Bush's current proposed strategy to increase troop levels is foolhardy. All we are doing now is supporting an ungrateful, two-faced, backstabbing, wannabe Shia dictatorship that is beholden to Moktada Al-Sadr and that could give a rat's ass about seeing our brave men and women in the armed forces sacrifice life and limb for democratic ideals completely unappreciated by the Iraqi government. I further submit that now, more than ever, the GOP needs a presidential candidate who will stand apart from his fellow Republicans and advocate on behalf of the party to our nation that there are individuals in the GOP who are opposed to President Bush's policy on Iraq and are therefore on the right side of the issue. I contend that Senator Hagel should be that presidential candidate and hereby pledge "life and fortune" for his presidential campaign here in Michigan should he decide to run in 2008.
